Sweet & Sour Meatballs (Asian Style)

Ingredients
- MEATBALL INGREDIENTS:
- 1 onion minced VERY FINELY
- 1 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 1/2 lb ground meat
- 3/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
- SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tbsp corn starch
Instructions
- MEATBALLS:
- Combine all meatball ingredients in a large bowl and knead together until uniform (I use gloves - ugh)
- Form into approx. 1 inch balls
- bake at 350 for 30 minutes
- SAUCE:
- Whisk all ingredients together in a pot at low-medium heat.
- Keep whisking until the sauce becomes thick
- Drop your baked meatballs into the sauce to coat each meatball and serve with rice or noodles.
