Ingredients
- 3 Big beets
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Cream
- 1/2 Tsp. Salt
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil beets in salted water (I use my instant pot).
- Reserve 1/2 cup red water from boiling the beets.
- Peel beets.
- Cube beets (1-inch cubes).
- Melt 2 tbsp. butter, add 2 tbsp flour and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup beet-water gradually, stirring constantly until a sauce forms.
- Add 2 tbsp. vinegar, stirring constantly.
- Add 1/4 cup cream, stirring constantly.
- Add 1/2 tsp. salt, stirring constantly.
- Add pepper to taste, stirring constantly.
- Add cubed beets, stirring constantly.
